Talk about no. 2
Talk about no. 2
Never felt blessed when becoming the runner-up? There was only a tiny bit of distance between the winner and you, but because of that little gap, you are the runner-up, or so-called the 2nd place in the game, the competition, or an exam, even when at work.
It was never as fun as being a runner-up, or was it? We know who the Olympic gold medallist is but hardly remember the silver medallist, do we? In a beauty contest, the winner is well known by everyone, but the runner-up is not as much. Let me ask you a question: I bet you know who the astronaut was who first set foot on the lunar ground. It was Armstrong, correct? "One small step for man, a giant leap for mankind." Famous, huh? How about the second man who walked on the moon? Don't know? Ohhhhhhh, you know so well who that was. It was a man called Aldrin. Never heard of him, you say?
I bet you know a cartoon character called Buzz Lightyear, don't you? Yes, then what? The full name of the second man who walked on the moon is called Buzz Aldrin. Now that does ring a bell? Aldrin is always being memorised by many, even without us knowing.
Now, who said being a runner-up doesn't make any difference? Trust yourself, be the person you are, and you are being recognised without knowing. Let's get on, to infinity, and beyond!
